As the lyric implies, this is a song about finding yourself and being happy. For me, the "Destiny" I'm talking about is finding music, and realizing that music is where my destiny seems to be - in one way or another. Being comfortable with what you're doing and who you are.
This could also be a love song where you find your destiny in someone else. The song also has religious overtones, i.e. the song could also be talking about God.
The chorus: "But you make me run..." etc is a reference to life, and any vocation one chooses in life. In other words, it's difficult! Life and/or love makes you run and fight etc. etc.
