Paddy & Bill Gigs...........Happy Christmas
December 22, 2006
Happy Christmas to one and all. Apparently some people can be quite offended by such a statement. If there are any such wankers on this mailing list, Bill and I wish you a very Happy Christmas.
It's Friday evening, December 22nd.......a few hours before the Wheelers gig.......another year over....and I still have my hair! I'm hanging pretty well and I can still see the fellas when I look towards my feet. Bill has a new hairstyle which suits him rather well so he's happy. So, all in all, it's been a good year. Here's to 2007.
Tomorrow, Saturday Dec 23rd we'll be in Wilmington at Hell's Kitchen. We're taking the week of Christmas off except for next Sunday Dec 31st (New Year's Eve) when we'll be playing at Tir na nOg.
Thanks for all the support. Again, Happy Christmas to you and yours.
All the best,
Paddy

Paddy And Bill Shenanigans……..Return to The Radisson…..Sat, Dec 16th
December 15th, 2006
Hello Ladies and Gentlemen……..
Tomorrow night (Saturday Dec 16th) we will be playing at the old Radisson Hotel (now called The Clarion) in the old Babes Lounge (now called Charley’s)…….it’s a once off type of thing. Should be interesting in that place. I watched babies being conceived in Babes on many a night…….blood, vomit, dildos……ah the memories……drop by if you get a chance. We start at 9pm…….
All the best,
Paddy

Hello Mo'fuckas, Aight?.....
Sorry
Hello my friends, are you well?
Just back from Charleston. Lovely time as always. Thanks for the support.
We'll be back in Raleigh this Saturday (December 9th) at Tir na nOg. Always enjoyable and always a wanker complaining. Makes for good TV.
Next Saturday, Dec 16th we'll be playing in the old Radisson Hotel in the former Babes Lounge. Many a baby was conceived in there in the old days. This venue is of course the first place Bill and I had a real audience. Shamrock and Roll was recorded there. It's a ledgendary venue although I don't remember most of those early gigs. Anyway, the hotel is now called The Clarion and the bar is now called Charley's. We start at 9pm......earlier than usual....Bill is regrowing his mullet for old times sake and I will be playing with my pants around my knees....as often happened in that place....
We still have our regular shows going on at Huske on Tuesdays, Skips on Thursdays and Wheelers on Fridays........
CDs and T-Shirts available through the web site www.paddygibney.com OR at Paradise Records here in Fayetteville.
Take care of yourselves out there in the world. I hope the road to Christmas has been smooth so far. God Bless our Military Boys and Girls. Thank you for what you do for so many. We'll see you along the road.
All the best,
Paddy

Paddy & Bill Gigs........Happy Thanksgiving
November 23, 2006
Hello Boys and Girls,
Well, it Thanksgiving time in America again. For those of you not in America or familiar with American culture, it's a time to say "thanks". I love the concept. I personally have much to be thankful for in my life.
Making a living from something you would do for free is a good place to start for me. My God, my family, my friends, my bro' Bill Ayerbe who flies this flag with me, our supporters who care enough to come to our shows and receive these silly emails, Laura Harper, our angel and friend......so, so much.....Arthur Guinness....birth control..... breast enhancement surgeons and their patients, the makers of beer goggles, lesbians......the list goes on and on.........
Today makes me think of those who defend the way of life we so benefit from: our military. THANK YOU.
Despite the holiday, Bill and I will be playing at Skips tonight (Thursday) as usual. We'll be at Wheeler's tomorrow. Saturday we get off for a change although we send our best wishes to Ryan who is getting married Saturday. Bill will be officiating.
Next weekend, DEC 1st and 2nd we'll be in Charleston at Tommy Condons.......no Wheelers show that week.......
God Bless you all and THANKS.
All the best,
Paddy

Hello boys and girls......
We're playing in Fayetteville's newest Irish Pub this Saturday night.....O'Larry's. It's on the corner of Cliffdale Road and Rim Road......Good little spot. Larry has done his research and has really put together a fine venue. Should be a giggle. Come along for a rare Saturday Fayetteville gig........we are of course playing tonight at Skips and tomorrow (Friday) at Wheeler's.......same old shite. The web site has all relative details..... www.paddygibney.com
Laura has been adding some cool stuff to the site including a blog..... (NOT including the picture of me mowing my lawn)! I know who submitted that photo. The death sentence will be carried out promptly.......... If any of you have any old snaps relating to our music then send them in. Show us how old and fat we've gotten.....
Thanks for all the support mes amies. Stay safe out there in the world. We'll see you along the road.

Hello Boys and Girls.....
Late night, not so drunken mass email to bore the bollocks off you lot.....
My good pal Sean McDaniel is showing his art work tonight (Thursday) at The Fayetteville Museum of Art until Jan 7th. (A few other artists will be featured too). Sean is indeed my friend but, I genuinely love his art. He is the typical deep thinking, sarcastic Irishman. The particular portfolio he will be highlighting is his work on Biblical stories/ledgends. I have one of his paintings in my home. It depicts Buddha, Mohammed, Jesus and Moses stumbling down the street after a "boys night out". Need I say more? Fantastic stuff. I didn't know I liked art until I met Dr. McDaniel. Anyway, The Museum is on Stamper Road in Fayetteville just off Bragg Blvd. The opening reception is from 6 PM to 8 PM tonight. Come along. You'll enjoy it. Sean's web site is www.sartchasm.com
Billy and myself will be at Skips tonight and Wheeler's on Friday.
Saturday we'll be back in Raleigh at Tir na nOg........lovely.
Saturday Nov 17th we'll be at Fayetteville's newest Irish Pub "O'Larrys's" on the corner of Cliffdale Road and Rim Road.......
We're thinking of doing some podcasts (whatever they are)....videos of gigs etc on our site.....please hit our blog for details..... www.paddygibney.com
CDs, T-shirts available through the site and at Paradise Records in Fayetteville......
Thanks for giving a shite. God Bless our Military boys and girls. Thank you for what you do for so many. We'll see you along the road.

Hello boys and girls........
Another mass email to annoy you I'm afraid. I was just getting over the week of my birthday and Halloween came along. I can't take this anymore. My inner slut comes out at each show but some of the costumes the girls wore to the shows over the weekend (especially last night at Huske) made me feel like a choirboy! Young girls we are used to seeing at the shows regularly boldly proclaimed the arrival of puberty it seemed. I am rarely embarassed but, I was speechless most of the time during these past few gigs. My age came screaming at my face. I had to think about baseball while singing so as not to have a Forrest Gump moment. What can't everyday be Halloween?
Bill and I dragged our arses to the radio station this morning to record a little skit I wrote to promote Skip's new Pub here in Fayetteville. I anticipated an element of lameness to come out of it but it turned out rather well. We started the skit out saying "Testes, Testes" and the radio guy stopped me. I convinced him that I was saying "Testing, Testing" but my accent made it sound the other way. He bought it. That alone should make the ad work. Anyway, for those of you in town, tune into 96.5 The Drive from today (Thursday) on and you will hear our dumb arses talking shite. Fame at last! Click Here
Our regular gigs remain: Every Tuesday at Huske.....Every Thursday at Skip's.....Every Friday at Wheelers
This Saturday, Nov 4th, we'll be in Durham at THE JAMES JOYCE PUB
Next Saturday, Nov 11th, we'll be at Tir na nOg in Raleigh
Check out the newly designed website at www.paddygibney.com. Laura has done an incredible job as usual. T-shirts, CDs etc are available through the site, at the shows and at Paradise Records here in Fayetteville.
That's it lads and lassies. Take care of yourselves out there in the world. Thanks for the continued support. Our best wishes to our Military boys and girls. Thank you for what you are doing for so many people. We'll see you along the road.

Paddy & Bill Gigs........Sat (10/28/06) @ The Brazn' Rabbit
October 26, 2006
Hello Hello,
Thanks for all the birthday wishes. I had a lovely day yesterday with family and friends. Is there anything more important? I think I'm 21. Many people seem to believe that regardless so I'm saying nothing. Anyway, you're only as old as you feel.......or whomever you're feeling. By that logic, I'm not old enough to drink yet........
This Saturday (10/28) we're playing at The Brazn' Rabbit, the lovely Restaurant inside The Clarion Hotel, downtown Fayetteville. This is not our normal venue but it went really well the last time we played there. We'll start around 10pm....
Off to Skip's in a few hours for our regular Thursday gig (10.30pm to 1.30am) .........We're at Wheeler's tomorrow (Friday) as usual........next Sat (Nov 4th) we'll be back up in Durham......
Laura has totally rebuilt our web site. It's fantastic. Please check it out and let us know what you think...... www.paddygibney.com
Thanks for all the support. Love and best wishes to our Military boys and girls around the world. We'll see you again along the road.

Paddy & Bill......Gigs and S****
October 12, 2006
Hello boys and girls,
Just back from a whitewater rafting trip to the Gauley River in West Va. What can I say? We almost died twice! I must have been drunk the last time I went rafting because I don't ever remember it being that intense. Thankfully my extensive Guinness training got me through the experience. The comedian Larry the cable guy was on the XM radio thingy on the way up there. Funny bastard. He was talking about the time he hired a midget prostitute and paid her $20 to go up on him. I know that's disgusting but it made me laugh. Anyway, back to Catholicism......
This Saturday (10/14) we're playing in Raleigh again at Tir na nOg. Always a good laugh there........our regular gigs remain every Tuesday at Huske, every Thursday at Skip's and every Friday at Wheelers.......all details on the web site (including our new T-shirt).....www.paddygibney.com
Oh, Sat Oct 21 we'll be back in Wilmington at Hell's Kitchen.....
That's it mes amies. Stay safe out there in the world and take care of each other. We'll see you along the road. Love to all our friends in the Military deployed around the world. We're immensely proud of you and we look forward to your safe return home. God Bless.

Paddy & Bill Gigs..........Durham and new Fayetteville Irish Bar, "O'Larry"s"
September 28, 2006
Hello boys and girls......
I promised the famous and much loved Laura Harper that my boring, full of shite mass email would go out before midnight but, here I am sending it when most normal people are drooling and catching flies. I tripped and fell over several pints of Guinness with Billy tonight so, alas, I'm a little late.
We'll be back up in Durham this Saturday at The James Joyce Pub.......it's Duke University's Homecoming. Will we fit in? Check the news on Sunday. Some stripper is sure to get laid. Voluntarily of course.
On Friday we're playing from 7pm to 9pm at Fayetteville's newest Irish Pub, O'Larry's (before we play at Wheeler's). It's the grand opening. Thanks to Larry for having us and good luck with the new venture.
Thursday (tonight)! sees us at Skip's on MacPherson Church Road. This will now be a regular gig for the foreseeable future. Skip is also the owner of Coaches. He informed us of his intention to sell Coaches and concentrate on this new business. It's a beautiful place which is in the process of becoming a pub/sports bar. Given Skip's intention to sell, we decided to move our Thursday show ahead of time and try to build something new. I know many of the local fanbase are not too thrilled with the venue change but, it is inevitable anyway so let's give it a shot. Change is always a scary thing but, it's for the best most of the time. Skippy is the man when it comes to the bar business. We're happy to be part of something new. Oh, and a new Hooters is opening up directly across the road, not that I care about such a thing......
Thanks for giving a .... We'll see you along the road. Check out the web site for info etc....plus our new T-shirt details. www.paddygibney.com Aight Mo'fuckas.

Hello boys and girls......
We have a few changes occurring at the moment. Bill and I will be no longer drinking Guinness. We're fat and we fear losing sight of our penises if we don't do something about it soon...he he....just a little joke to soften you up for another pain in the arse mass email......how can you not drink what you were baptized in?
Anyway, we will be playing at Skip's new bar, aptly named "Skip's" tonight (Thursday). We're moving to this bigger venue on Thursdays for the foreseeable future. It looks like Coaches will be no more at some point in the future so we feel it best to take this opportunity to make the move now. Skip's is located across from The Outback Restaurant on McPherson Church Road. There's a new Hooters being built next to the Outback so we hope to have some tired and vulnerable Hooters girls to take advantage of on Thursdays along with others who will enjoy some more room and comfort. We'll see how it goes. The jury is out at the moment but we feel it's worth a shot.
Tuesdays at Huske and Fridays at Wheeler's will remain the same.....
This Saturday (Sept 23rd) we'll be at The Braz-N-Rabbit Restaurant and Bar for the first time. It's located in the Clarion Hotel downtown Fayetteville (formerly The Radisson Hotel) across from Huske Hardware House. We could do with some support for that show. Next Saturday (Sept 30th) we'll be back up in Durham at The James Joyce Pub. It's Duke University's homecoming. There should be some folks around to piss off. I heard there's a big lacrosse team party after our show. Everyone gets laid at those things apparently......sorry, trying to soften you up some more.......
We have new T-shirts available finally. Details on our web site www.paddygibney.com
That's it lads and lassies. Thanks for being on the mailing list. I hope this finds you all well. We said good-bye to several of our friends this past week who left on military service to Iraq. We'll miss you all. Thanks to all our military for what you and your families endure to protect the freedoms we so enjoy. We'll see you along the road.

Paddy & Bill........Raleigh and more........
September 14, 2006
Hello boys and girls......
It's always amusing how many people ask "Where do you guys play?". Many who ask this question receive this email regularly. That means that these emails are a bigger pain in the arse than I thought they were.....oh well, so are too many Guinnesses.
We're back at Tir na nOg in Raleigh this Saturday. It's always a good night in that venue. We also have some new t-shirts available this weekend. They can be purchased at the gigs or through the site.... www.paddygibney.com
Tonight (Thursday) we will be playing at Skip's Restaurant and Pub instead of Coaches. It's a once off deal at the moment. Skip is the gentleman who owns Coaches and he is trying to get his new venture off the ground so we will try to bring rape, pillage and plunder to this new spot. It's located on MacPherson Church Road in Fayetteville across from the Outback Restaurant......
We will be playing in Southern Pines on Friday evening before our regular Wheeler's show. There is a big shindig going on down there in honor of our friend Nathan Davis (www.nathan-davis.com). We are playing a short set starting at 6pm. Many great musicians will be present with a whole night of entertainment on the cards to say goodbye to our pal. They are closing off the streets in front of O'Donnell's Pub. Nate will be watching while drinking a Guinness with the big man upstairs.
Thanks to those of you who voted for Bill and me in the Up & Coming Magazine "Best of" poll. We are honored and flattered. I shall be wearing sunglasses and being a general prick from now on......only joking compadres.....we do consider ourselves the 'best of' many things but none are fit to mention in this family email message.
Great week of shows last week. Thanks for all the support and 'hello' to all the new people we infected. We'll see you again along the road. Remember, clean panties and your best foot forward are always the way to go.

Hello boys and girls......
Sorry if I mentioned this already.....Bill and myself will be playing at the grand opening of the Iron Mike Brew Pub on Fort Bragg (located in The Officers' Club) later today (Thursday)....The General speaks at 5pm and we start talking and singing shite shortly afterwards for a couple of hours....The General loves beer and breasts he tells me. I told him that Bill and me were Rear Admirals. He has decided to stay for awhile and drink. Should be a few court martials at least.......Anyway, for those of you early to bed people we are finally playing a show before dark.....we'll be at Coaches later like normal.

Bill and I will be back at The James Joyce Pub this Saturday (Sept 2nd). We haven't played there in several months. I believe they have a new beer garden out the back. We'll be playing outside, weather permitting. We have many friends in that area, I hope some of you can come along. Saturday, Sept 9 we'll be back in Wilmington......all info about our gigs etc can be found on the site.... www.paddygibney.com

August 10, 2006
Hello boys and girls........
We're back from a little break. Lovely it was indeed. The people of Ireland were melting in temperatures of 75 and 80 degrees. Ferocious heat altogether! Little do they know that such temps are rather cold for this time of year in places like North Carolina. Anyway, I've been going home to Ireland a couple of times a year for over 19 years and, the weather this time out was fantastic. The best it's ever been for me. I forgot where I was for a while, until I had a pint of course.
It's Thursday......we're back to our normal schedule of every Tuesday in Huske, every Thursday in Coaches and every Friday in Wheelers...........This Saturday (August 12th) we'll be in Wilmington at Hells Kitchen.........

Thanks for the support. We're chuffed at that. Also, I thought this MySpace business was just a seedy internet 'bar' where one could get laid but, we have been delighted with the response to both our pages on there. The blogs are doing well too. April 6, 2006
Hello my dears..........
I'm bollocksed here with sinus trouble and a sore mouth after having a tooth pulled. Oh the trials and tribulations of a musician's life. I need a building to jump off....
I'm off to Coaches in a little while for tonight's show. We'll be in Wheeler's tomorrow (Friday) as usual and Saturday we'll be in Raleigh at Tir na nOg again.....
We now have a MySpace page, space, whatever you call it......MySpace always seemed to me like a place for horny bastards to get laid but, apparently there are nice people who frequent this site.....Laura tells me our page has done extremely well and we have many 'friends' who have linked up to us. I still think it's a place to try to dip your wick but, I'm grateful for the new pals we've made. Anyway, the link is as follows http://myspace.com/paddyandbill
Bill and I are trying to learn new tunes as well as work on original stuff. Any feedback on what artists you think would fit our format would be most helpful.....just email me.

Hello boys and girls.......
We're playing this Saturday (tomorrow) in Wilmington at Hell's Kitchen. The whole shenanigans surrounding St. Pat's Day is finally subsiding. Thanks to all of you who came along to see us play over our very own Irish holiday. It was an amazing time as usual. Our livers are in hospital right now. Charleston last weekend was it's usual wild time. Brenda and Sapna kicked my arse on the golf course and, Colleen took me to some of Charleston's most unusual bars. Thanks for the hospitality. Charleston is one of our favorite places to play.
I'm just home from a Coaches gig.......tonight we'll be in Wheeler's as usual. Hope to see you guys along the road. Thanks for the support. Stay safe and be well. Drink lots of guinness. www.paddygibney.com

March 16, 2006
Boys and Girls,
Well well, here we are again, a few hours away from the day when even black men are Irish (although all Irish men are black anyway).....Happy St. Patrick's Day to you all. I was in Jamaica last week hanging with my brothers and resting before our own version of March madness begins and it begins tonight at Coaches, our regular Thursday haunt.
Tomorrow, St. Pat's Day, Bill and I will be visiting several schools during the day to warn kids of the dangers of not drinking Guinness. We do the school thing every year. The children are always enlightening..... and honest, "you guys stink"....good way to keep our feet on the ground.
From 6pm to 8pm we'll be playing a few tunes in Wiley's (formerly Bowties) in The Holiday Inn Bordeaux. If nothing else, it's a chance to come by and say hello for those folks who would prefer to avoid the mayhem at Wheeler's where we will be playing later the same night.......no cover charge at the Holiday Inn by the way.
Saturday night we'll be playing at The Mash House. We haven't been there in a while. Great home brewed beer and a different feel from most places we play. It's usually a little more civilized also, until we arrive of course. Anyway, it should be more comfortable for people who can't come to Wheeler's on St. Paddy's Day itself. No cover. We start around 10pm......
Sunday......sleep all day with my blow up doll.
By the way, this Tuesday (March 21st) we will NOT be at Huske Hardware House. We have a private show in Chapel Hill that evening. Also, we'll be back in Charleston at Tommy Condon's NEXT Friday and Saturday (March 24 and 25). We'll be at Coaches on Thursday March 23rd as usual.......
That's it lads and lassies. Sorry for the long email. I'm tired just thinking about the schedule and you are bored reading about it I'm sure. It's not a bad life though. Thanks for making ours richer and more enjoyable. Take care of yourselves out there in the world. We'll see you along the road.
All the best,
Paddy

Paddy & Bill Gigs.........Vacation and The Officers' Club
March 6, 2006
Hello boys and girls,
It's early Monday morning. Bill and myself are off for a liver transplant over the next few days in preparation for the St. Pat's Day festivities. We haven't had a break in a while and, with our job being so demanding and containing life and death decisions every show, we decided a few days off might be in order. We will, therefore, not be at Huske this Tuesday nor at Coaches this Thursday. We will, however, be back for Friday........March 10th.......a busy day indeed.
We will be playing in The Officers' Club on Fort Bragg from 6pm to 9pm. This is a free show open to the public. I have been assured that lame ass wankers no longer hang out at this place, MP's will NOT be waiting in the parking lot for you as you leave on one ear and, we have full reign to talk gigantic shite throughout the evening. Seriously, we could do with a little support for this particular event. I have my doubts about the suitability of this environment when it comes to our particular brand of entertainment but, the staff have been a pleasure to work with so far and we want it to work out for them with an eye to a more regular gig at this venue in the future. We'll see. I'm talking huge shite either way.......especially after all the flak I have received from people who have heard my voice on the radio advertisement for this event......I know I sound silly but I had just got out of bed....Bill is working on his Irish accent so as to take over all such duties in the future.
We will of course be at Wheeler's later on that Friday......11pm 'til whenever we fall down........Saturday, March 11th we'll be back in RALEIGH at TIR NA NOG.......always brilliant fun there.......
The following week is somewhat normal except for the fact that it's St. Pat's Day on Friday......we'll be playing Wheeler's that night, just like a regular night, although it will be far from that I'm sure. Huske on Tuesday (March 14th) and Coaches on Thursday remain the same.......Saturday, March 18th will see us return to The Mash House here in Fayetteville. Every time we've played at this venue I have been pleasantly surprised. Good place to nurse the Pat's Day hangover......we'll sing gospel songs mostly.....
That's it mes amies......sorry for the length of this email message......but Irish men tend to be long........................................................) Take care of yourselves and thanks for all the support. I'd be a porn star if it wasn't for the great audiences we have each gig.....Thanks especially to all our military boys and girls. We are honored to be in your lives. Thanks so much for protecting ours. We'll see you along the road.
All the best,
Paddy

Paddy & Bill Gigs......Raleigh on Sat, Feb 18th
February 11, 2006
Hello boys and girls.........
Happy Valentines Day to all of you out there in the world. Hope you all got laid tonight. Serious people/musicians (ahem) like me have no time for such fun. Just got home from a show at Huske Hardware. It seems there are many members of the 'lonely hearts club' not just me and Billy.......for a town like Fayetteville with 300,000 penises and 12 vaginas I was amazed to have all 12 at our show tonight.......and they all left alone. Lesbians just like me I suppose........
We'll be playing at Tir Na nOg in Raleigh this Saturday (Feb 18th). It's always a blast. I hope some of you in the area can make it out. Saturday, Feb 25th we'll be back in Wilmington at Hell's Kitchen.....need I say more?....always an orgy.
Our regular shows remain Tuesdays at Huske Hardware, Thursdays at Coaches and Fridays at Wheelers..........Check out our web site for all relevant details..... www.paddygibney.com
Thanks for being on our mailing list. Welcome home to many of our boys and girls over the last few weeks. Love and best wishes to all of you away doing your thing. Thanks for your love and service to this country. We'll see you along the road.
All the best,
Paddy

Hello Boys and Girls........
I hope this finds you all well and happily surviving the new year so far. Bill and I are staying busy as usual. It's been great to see so many old mates at the gigs lately. Many of these folks are just back from Iraq. I hope the day will soon come when all our military heroes get to come home.
We're playing this Saturday (Jan 28th) at Tir na nOg in Raleigh. It's always a great show in that place. New Year's Eve was particularly crazy. Hope some of you in the Raleigh area can make it out.
