Hello again......Gigs, Info and a little shite........Thursday, August 22nd, '02

August 22, 2002

Hello Everyone,

Well it's been a while.........Sorry about our disappearance lately. Everything is fine. We've just been slammed with life and work. Other than that I have no good sober excuse. There are a few different things going on at the moment.........

Last Friday was our last night playing at Babe's in The Radisson hotel here in Fayetteville (you can read the newspaper article about it at www.shenanigansite.com or by going to the fayetteville observer-times website and plugging in my name to their search engine). We had many great times in that bar over the last six years so we'll miss it. Hotel management, in their infinite wisdom have decided to turn the bar into a bistro. We heard many excuses for this from the hotel elite but despite being disappointed we wish the hotel well in it's new endeavor. Now that that particular gig is over, maybe we should apologise to the many nice people (religious and the like) who may have had to endure the effects of one of our Radisson gigs while attending a wedding, conference, or reunion (fruit juice and water only).........Sorry for all the bad language every friday (there's no fucking excuse for that)........and the loud rock-n-roll music.......and the bare breasts.......the alcohol consumption.....the occasional sex act in the bathrooms......the assholes who seem to enjoy vomiting on the floor or the bar itself rather than make it to the bathroom.....the singing and dancing........the laughing and having a good time etc etc. I write this because apparently our gigs have ruffled a few feathers over the years. Our deepest apologies........we'll only sing gospel songs from now on............Seriously, thanks to all of you who came to see us play there. Thanks especially to the staff and to those who worked there over the years. We'll miss you.

So what's next?.........well, we spent some time trying to figure out what to do on fridays. We were looking at several places when I got a phone call from Chester Wheeler, the owner of Wheeler's (formerly called Nashville Station some years back) here in Fayetteville. He asked me and Bill to meet with him so he could show us how he has improved his club.......from remodeling to changing the clientelle. We were impressed with Chester and the club and to make a long story short, Wheeler's will be the site of our regular friday gigs, starting this friday, august 23rd. Wheeler's is located between the Exxon station and the video hut on Raeford Road at the intersection of Raeford Rd and Robeson Street........just past Chris's Steak House. There are two sides to this club. One side is a bar area with a pool table and a large TV and couches etc etc.......the other side is a much larger area with a stage and large dance floor (plus some pool tables off to the side)........there will be a lot more room than there ever was at The Radisson.......Memberships to the bar are $5 but this fee will be waived for our first couple of gigs. I think it's a place where most of you would go for a beer at any time during the week so it would be worth coming along and getting a free membership even if you can't stand me and Bill........which I would understand because we can't stand ourselves either. You can always retire to the other side of the bar and watch the weather channel........I hope most of you can come along this friday. It would be nice to get the new venue off to a good start. There should be plenty of room and tables etc etc for several hundred people.

Our regular gigs remain as follows:

Every Tuesday we're at Huske Hardware House downtown Fayetteville. Every Thursday we're at Coaches on Bragg Blvd. Every Friday will now be at Wheeler's on Raeford Rd.............Saturday's are generally out of town. We are due up in Durham this Saturday (Aug 24th) but that gig had to be cancelled. We will be back in Durham on Sat, September 7th. I'll keep you posted on other Saturday gigs in later emails.

*********For any and all information about us you can email me directly at Patrickgib@aol.com.***********

*********If you have been at any of our shows over the last several months check for your picture at www.shenanigansite.com Laura Harper has put together a wonderful site containing virtually everything about Bill and I including pictures from EVERY gig.........except for the naked pics which are withheld for private enjoyment and blackmail.......There is also an extensive merchandise section with an order form that can be printed and filled out for mailing to us...........you can also view pictures of the t-shirts, posters, stickers, and music releases (with song listings etc etc).......so basically, go to www.shenanigansite.com for whatever you need to know about us............PLEASE sign the guestbook and leave your info and message......even if it's negative......we'll inform you if you are to be killed............We do of course have an official site.......www.paddygibney.com........this site has been slow in developement but Debbi Voisey in England will be taking over the site soon so everything will be up to date and the journal will be added to each day with funny and embarrassing stories etc etc............and photos......

A very special thanks to Laura Harper and Debbi Voisey. We love you.

The fan club site address is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/paddyandbillfanclub/

Our music is on sale at CD Warehouse and Paradise Records here in Fayetteville and at Millennium Music, School Kids Music and Video, and CD Alley in Wilmington.

Gigs and Info........Thursday, October 10th, 2002.

October 10, 2002

Hello Everyone,

I hope all is well out there in the world. It's very late so please pardon me if I write anything stupid. We have a couple of unusual dates coming up soon so I wanted to let you know what's going on. Bill and I are sober and well.......believe it or not. Our regular weekly shows remain as follows:

Every tuesday we're at Huske Hardware House, every thursday we're at Coaches, and every friday we're at Wheeler's. Email me for any details you may need regarding a venue or gig. My email address is Patirckgib@aol.com.

This Friday (October 11th) we will not be in Wheeler's. We have a private, one off party in Durham. We'll be back next week. Our pal Tip will be in there in our place with Bad Monkey. They are an excellent band. Check them out. They will be in Wheeler's on Saturday too.

This Saturday (October 12th) we'll be back in The Big Apple sports bar on Yadkin Road. We have played there once before. It's great place for our show. Kim and Donna are wonderful hosts. Please come by if you can.

Saturday afternoon Bill and I will be taking part in the Fayetteville Music Festival out in the Soccer Complex on Ramsey Road. There are about 11 bands taking part so it should be a great day out for everyone. I hope some of you can come along and support the musicians.

Please also take note of the Voodoo Moon show out at Club Metro on Sunday October 20th. We'll be taking part. It will be a wild night. I won't have to ask women to get naked since most them will be because of the nature of the show..................sounds lovely right? Make sure you go to church before hand.

Our website remains www.paddygibney.com.

Laura Harper's wonderful website can be contacted at www.shenanigansite.com.

That's about all I can think of right now. Sorry if I left anything out and I promise to answer all emails sent to me this week.

Best Wishes and our sincerest thanks to you all,
Paddy

Gigs and Info........Paddy and Bill..........Wednesday, October 16th, 2002.

October 16, 2002

Hello Everyone,

I hope all is well out there in your world. This is just a short email about upcoming gigs and other events. As always, Bill and I play weekly in Fayetteville at Huske Hardware House (tuesdays), Coaches (thursdays), and Wheeler's (fridays). This Saturday (Oct 19th) we'll be up in Durham at The James Joyce Pub. Next Saturday (Oct 26th) we'll be back up in Raleigh at Rira's Irish Pub and Restaurant.

This coming Sunday (Oct 20th) is a busy day for us. At 3pm Bill will be soloing with The Fayetteville Symphony performing Vivaldi's Four Seasons. This takes place in Reeves Auditorium at Methodist College. I know that many of you are travelling from far and wide to see this. It will be worth it. Bill is a brilliant classical violinist. Sunday night at Club Metro on Ft. Bragg Road sees another Sun and Moon production come to life in the form of Voodoo Moon. This is the annual Arts and Masquerade Ball. The show lasts from 7pm to 2am and it consists of live music, dance, visual arts, and spoken word. We're playing two shorts sets of music at 8.30pm and 11pm. Some of the other musical acts taking part are Rhythm Tide, Bob Steele and the brilliant Visually Impaired. I believe the theme is set in the 1960's so it will be Austin Powers type clothes and 60's music with go-go dancers etc etc. Sounds like my kind of party. Do I make you horny baby? Anyway, it's 18 and up with a $6 cover charge. Don't worry if you don't have the 60's clothes to wear. All I have is my lepoard skin shoes and panties. For more info on this show call 910-306-9587 or 910-484-7662.

Our friend Nathan Davis releases a CD of original songs on Friday night at The Back Alley in Southern Pines. Bill and I have heard it. We're big Nathan fans. I can't imagine anyone who wouldn't love his work. His email address is Faithlessmusic110102@yahoo.com.

Thanks to Debbi Voisey in England our offical website is starting to take shape. The address is www.paddygibney.com. Please check it out and sign the guestbook and take part in the message board stuff. Laura Harper's wonderful site is www.shenanigansite.com. She works on it everyday and it contains a wealth of information about us including pictures from many of the gigs and merchandise information. Thanks for all your love and support Laura. We miss seeing you.

Our CDs and merchandise can be viewed on these websites and all relative contact information is listed. Some of the CDs are also on sale in Fayetteville at CD Warehouse and Paradise Records and in Wilmington at Millennium Music, School Kids Music and Video, and CD Alley. Our original CD "Live-Love-Now" is available over the internet at www.cdbaby.com. Please review the CD on this site. It takes just a few minutes.

Many thanks to you all for your continued support of what we do. Thanks also for being on our mailing list. Take care of each other. We'll see you along the road.

Gigs and Info.........Paddy and Bill.........Nov 12, 2002.

November 12, 2002

Hello again,

First of all I would like to thank all of you for coming to my birthday party/gig a couple of weeks back. Thanks also for the cards and messages.........so uplifting for an insecure fellow like myself!......Seriously, I was touched by the whole week of events. I'm very grateful. My friend Nathan dressed up as Big Momma and embarrassed the crap out of me. It was quite a moment which I believe is well documented in photos at www.shenanigansite.com. I'll get you back you wanker! I thought I had gotten lucky that night until this woman sat on me and she turned out to be Nate. Something to tell the grandkids about I suppose.

Our gigs are as follows: Every Tuesday we're in Huske Hardware House downtown Fayetteville (10pm). Every Thursday we're in Coaches (10pm). Every Friday we're in Wheeler's (10pm). From Friday, Dec 6th we will be playing on the other (smaller) side of Wheeler's. They will be re-arranging the place to accommodate us so we should be able to recapture that small, intimate feeling we were used to on Fridays. Saturdays are usually out of town for us. This Saturday (Nov 16th) we will be back up in Durham at the James Joyce Pub. *********Saturday, nov 23rd we will be in Rira's in Raleigh again********

Our CDs and Merchandise can be viewed/ordered in the pages of the following websites:

www.paddygibney.com and/or www.shenanigansite.com

Both websites are coming along very well. Bill and I would like to send our love and thanks to Debbi Voisey and Laura Harper for all their hard work on these respective sites. We would be lost without you both. Both sites have a great deal of information about us and what we do with guestbooks and message boards etc etc. Please take a look and sign the guestbooks, take part in the message boards etc etc and give us some feedback. Any ideas/comments about what we do are always helpful whether they be positive or negative as long as you leave our privates out of it.......Billy's a humble guy you know!

Our CDs are on sale through www.cdbaby.com and also in record stores in Fayetteville (Paradise Records and CD Warehouse) and in Wilmington (Millennium Music, CD Alley, and School Kids Music and Video).

As always I would like to thank you all for being on our mailing list. Take care of yourselves and keep your panties clean at all times.

All the best,
Paddy

Gigs and Info...Happy Thanksgiving 2002...Paddy Gibney and Bill Ayerbe

November 28, 2002

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone........well, to those of you in the US at least. Before I head out to dinner with my family I thought I would send out a quick mail to wish you and yours all the very best.

We are working a normal weekend over the Thanksgiving Holiday.........no rest for the wicked..........We'll be at Coaches tonight (Thursday). We have a lot of old friends in town so it should be a party to remember. By the way, for those of you in Fayetteville, look out for late night police road blocks. Try to grab a taxi or have someone sober drive you.

Normally we play at Wheeler's on Friday's but this friday (Nov 29th) is a little different. There is a shagging competition in Wheeler's this friday so we will be playing at a bar called OT's. This place was formally called Vipers. It is located in the Boone Trail Center at 3037-F Boone Trail Ext. This is the newly developed area across from The Holiday Inn Bordeaux. There's a movie theater and a coffee shop (Village Coffee House). The walkway in between these two places will take you to OT's. There is parking around back as well as in the front. The number at the bar is 910-485-1076. By the way, in America shagging is a form of dancing........unfortunately........real shagging is much more enjoyable. So don't head out to Wheeler's expecting to get laid. I fell for that years ago.

This Saturday, november 30th, we'll be up in Durham at The James Joyce Pub.......next saturday, dec 7th, we'll be at The Big Apple on Yadkin Road in Fayetteville.

That's about it my dears. Take care of yourselves. Many thanks for being on our mailing list. I know I owe many of you return emails. I will get to them soon. Our websites are www.paddygibney.com and www.shenanigansite.com..........look here for info on Bill and I as well as merchandise info etc etc.......Thanks again.

All the best,
Paddy Gibney

Current Gigs and Info.........Paddy Gibney and Bill Ayerbe

December 5, 2002

Hello there,

Another email to bore the pants off you.........I have been up for hours answering emails. For the first time in years my inbox is empty........I feel like having a pint to celebrate........it won't last long. Thanks for your patience those of you who were waiting for replies from me. Most of you don't give a shite I'm sure.......it's a good reason to have a pint though.......Anyway, just a couple of things to note. Our good friend Debbi Voisey is travelling from England to be here this weekend for the gigs. She does all the work on our website paddygibney.com.......we'll do our best to get her drunk. That's a fair repayment I think. We decided to play in Fayetteville all weekend so Deb can recover from her hangovers and not have to travel out of town.

SOOOOOOOO.........this Saturday.......Dec 7th..........We'll be back in The Big Apple Sports Bar on Yadkin Road (868-5559)........It's located next to Cumberland Pawn. We've played there a few times before. Two of the best looking women in Fayetteville (Donna and Kim) work in there so Bill and I don't mind working there. It's not a usual stop for us so I hope some of you guys can make that particular show. It's Debbi's birthday so knickers and bras shall be removed.

As always we play at Huske Hardware every tuesday night, at Coaches every thursday night and at Wheeler's every friday night...........Next sat.....dec 14th we'll be back up at The James Joyce Pub in Durham.........By the way, from this friday (tomorrow night) we'll be playing on the 'other' side of the bar in Wheeler's. It's a little more suited to our gigs although the seating will be less........come see what you think. That side of the bar is a little more realistic for us to recreate the Babes atmosphere on fridays of old........Debbi will be at the Friday and Saturday shows along with her pal Donna so stop in and say hello if possible and help us get them drunk.

All band, media, and merchandise info is located on our website www.paddygibney.com.

The wonderful Laura Harper has put together a fantastic site about us. The address is www.shenanigansite.com. The merchandise page here is excellent too.

Please visit the sites and sign the guestbooks........even if you only have a bunch of shite to write. It nice to get some feedback. It's our job to piss some people off so don't be afraid to let us know.......By the way.........check out Laura's photo section. It's brilliant. Many of you are probably in the pics.......bare breasts and all.

Bill's email address is Rostacav@aol.com

Our CDs are also on sale at record stores in Fayetteville (Paradise Records and CD Warehouse) and in Wilmington (Millennium Music, CD Alley, and School Kids Music and Video)...........or through the net at www.cdbaby.com..........

That's about it mes amies. I hope you are all well. Take care of yourselves and enjoy the run up to the holidays. Bill and I are staying around this Christmas for the most part so our gigs should remain fairly normal..........except for some of the shite we have to sing........but we don't mind.......because we're professionals........that's why we drink when we work.......right?........Keep your panties clean. We'll see you along the road.

All the best,
Paddy

PS..........Happy Birthday to my mate Justin in Ireland

PPS........Thanks to Emily, Melissa, and Amanda for remaining half naked throughout the entire show in Durham last Saturday. I knew the crowd liked us for some reason.........check out the pics on Laura's site.

PPPS.......Check out www.romansixrecords.com.........our friends in Visually Impaired have just released their new studio CD. They are a local Fayetteville band and they could do with the support. They're on their way to the top. Good luck lads.

Happy New Year..........Gigs and Info........Paddy and Bill.

December 31, 2002

Hello my friends.......

My appologies for another mass email. I hope you all enjoyed the holidays. Happy New Year.........

Bill and I will be playing at Huske Hardware House tonight for New Year's Eve. It will be just like a regular tuesday show at Huske so there will be no cover charge or anything like that. We're expecting a big crowd so come early. Regardless enjoy the night where ever you may be.

I know I owe many of you return emails. Sorry about the delay. I will answer them all. The following information is just general info about us which most of you know already so I'll sign off here. Thanks for your continued support. Hello to all our military friends stationed around the world at this time. We'll raise a pint for you tonight. Stay safe.

Our regular gigs remain every tuesday at Huske Hardware House, every thursday at Coaches, and every friday at Wheeler's. These gigs are all in Fayetteville. Saturday's are usually out of town. Saturday, Jan 11th we'll be in Durham at The James Joyce Pub. Jan 18th we'll be in O'Donnell's in Southern Pines........I'll keep you posted on future Raleigh gigs etc etc later.......

Our website address is www.paddygibney.com. Look out for an upcoming piece about a certain young, dark, Irish? guy named Bill Ayerbe...........Debbi interviewed Billy recently for a long overdue place on the site. I believe the questions were quite revealing. I can't wait to see what shit he said about me. I know too much about him though so it can't be that bad! Our friend Laura Harper has worked tirelessly pushing us around the internet and beyond. Her site (dedicated to Bill and I) is incredible and very popular with the people who like our music. Visit this site to see the various places we are on the 'net. Also, there is an extensive collection of photos from gigs over the past year. Please visit the sites and sign the guestbooks etc etc.

Our CDs and merchandise is available through both sites. CDs are also available in Wilmington at Millennium Music, CD Alley and Sckool Kids Music and Video..........In Fayetteville at CD Warehouse...............

That's about it I believe. Enjoy tonight where ever you are in the world. Happy New Year.

All the best,
Paddy
