I have been a fan of Paddy and Bill for 2 years now. I got to meet them for the first time in Charleston, SC last year. I felt like I knew Paddy because of my love for his original songs. The show was packed and there were people all over them during their break and after the show. They signed autographs for everyone and anyone. Paddy particularly seemed a little embarassed by this because he truly carries himself as an ordinary guy but I think it's that 'ordinary' quality about him and Bill that make them so wonderful. When Paddy talks to you personally he makes you feel like you are the only one in the room regardless of the amount of people around him or whether you are male or female. I believe these guys have a great future. They may or may not become world famous and I don't think that matters to Paddy but they will touch many, many lives with their humor and depth as people and musicians. I wish they lived here in New York. |
