"Golden Oldies" has a nice ring to it, huh? Anyways, I am now working on the photos from day one so that sounded appropriate to me. Don't know about Paddy & Bill!!!!
This project will continue for some time but lots of the 2002 gigs are back online. Most of the pages from that era have to be totally redone; the photos are small and I was not using the slideshow format
back then. That means that lots of the photos have to be edited for that format!!! Keep checking the Gig Slideshow Index for the
latest and greatest.
Don't forget to send in your favorite gig photos. I know there are lots of them out there because it seems that almost everyone has a camera attached to them nowadays!!! Not just me anymore.
Here's the way to do it. Oh, yeah, you get your name on the front page of Paddy Gibney Music if you contribute. Bet
that turns you on!!
See you next time.
The gig scheduled for November 25, 2006 at Hell's Kitchen in Wilmington, North Carolina, has been cancelled. The next gig at Hell's Kitchen will be Saturday, December 23, 2006.
Hello Boys and Girls,
Well, it's Thanksgiving time in America again. For those of you not in America or familiar with American culture, it's a time to say "thanks". I love the concept. I personally have much to be thankful for in my life.
Making a living from something you would do for free is a good place to start for me. My God, my family, my friends, my bro' Bill Ayerbe who flies this flag with me, our supporters who care enough to come to our
shows and receive these silly emails, Laura Harper, our angel and friend......so, so much.....Arthur Guinness....birth control..... breast enhancement surgeons and their patients, the makers of beer goggles,
lesbians......the list goes on and on.........
Today makes me think of those who defend the way of life we so benefit from: our military. THANK YOU.
Despite the holiday, Bill and I will be playing at Skips tonight (Thursday) as usual. We'll be at Wheeler's tomorrow. Saturday we get off for a change although we send our best wishes to Ryan who is getting
married Saturday. Bill will be officiating.
Next weekend, DEC 1st and 2nd we'll be in Charleston at Tommy Condons.......no Wheelers show that week.......
God Bless you all and THANKS.
All the best,
Paddy
Hello boys and girls......
We're playing in Fayetteville's newest Irish Pub this Saturday night.....O'Larry's. It's on the corner of Cliffdale Road and Rim Road......Good little spot. Larry has done his research and has really put together a fine venue. Should be a giggle. Come along for a rare Saturday Fayetteville gig........we are of course playing tonight at Skips and tomorrow (Friday) at Wheeler's.......same old shite. The web site has all relative details..... www.paddygibney.com
Laura has been adding some cool stuff to the site including a blog..... (NOT including the picture of me mowing my lawn)! I know who submitted that photo. The death sentence will be carried out promptly.......... If any of you have any old snaps relating to our music then send them in. Show us how old and fat we've gotten.....
Thanks for all the support mes amies. Stay safe out there in the world. We'll see you along the road.
All the best,
Paddy

Video - Show Me The Way To Go Home
Posted by LauraH
I came across some videos that I did of Paddy & Bill back in 2003. We never could get the lighting right so we sort of abandoned that idea. The quality of these two is fair so they are here for you to see,
and listen to, Paddy at the end of a gig. This was at Wheeler's on June 13, 2003.....

WOW!! I made it to Raleigh all by myself for the first time in a year!!! Can’t begin to tell you how much I have missed that!!
Anyways, the gig at Tir Na Nog was great - as always. Got to see lots of really neat people that I have not seen in a while. Hope I make it back for the next gig(s). The photos are all online here so mosey on over
and take a peek. Sorry, no boobies this time - well, other than those of the male bartender. Guess I’ll have to work on that.
Paddy & Bill were great as usual. Paddy was really wound up - in a good way. He and Bill rode up to Raleigh together so think they must have had a GOOD chat along the way!!!! Think I need to learn how to put
a bug in that van!!!! A camera would be good too!!

Spotted - Paddy At His Day Job
Posted by LauraH
This photo was submitted by someone who shall remain anonymous. You think maybe he should keep his night job????????
Catch P&B tonight at Tir Na Nog in Raleigh, North Carolina. Click here for more info.
Take a look at Paddy & Bill’s Friday night gig at Wheeler’s. No luck for me in the parking lot again!!! The place was crowded but only a couple of familiar faces in the crowd. Did manage to get a couple
of ‘booby shots’ for P&B. For some reason they seem to like those. They will be added to the exclusives soon so look out for them.
Take a look at Paddy & Bill’s Thursday night gig at Skip’s. The place was jam-packed with no place to park!!! I finally found a place at the very back end of the lot. At least there were some people standing
out there. I got a shot of them - the first shot on the slideshow! I did not stay long because there was absolutely no way I could get shots with any quality at all. It was like sardines in there and hot as - well
you know what.

Paddy & Bill Gigs

Hello Boys and Girls.....
Late night, not so drunken mass email to bore the bollocks off you lot.....
My good pal Sean McDaniel is showing his art work tonight (Thursday) at The Fayetteville Museum of Art until Jan 7th. (A few other artists will be featured too). Sean is indeed my friend but, I genuinely love his
art. He is the typical deep thinking, sarcastic Irishman. The particular portfolio he will be highlighting is his work on Biblical stories/ledgends. I have one of his paintings in my home. It depicts Buddha,
Mohammed, Jesus and Moses stumbling down the street after a "boys night out". Need I say more? Fantastic stuff. I didn't know I liked art until I met Dr. McDaniel. Anyway, The Museum is on Stamper Road in
Fayetteville just off Bragg Blvd. The opening reception is from 6 PM to 8 PM tonight. Come along. You'll enjoy it. Sean's web site is www.sartchasm.com
Billy and myself will be at Skips tonight and Wheeler's on Friday.
Saturday we'll be back in Raleigh at Tir na nOg........lovely.
Saturday Nov 17th we'll be at Fayetteville's newest Irish Pub "O'Larrys's" on the corner of Cliffdale Road and Rim Road.......
We're thinking of doing some podcasts (whatever they are)....videos of gigs etc on our site.....please hit our blog for details.....www.paddygibney.com
CDs, T-shirts available through the site and at Paradise Records in Fayetteville......
Thanks for giving a shite. God Bless our Military boys and girls. Thank you for what you do for so many. We'll see you along the road.
All the best,
Paddy

Paddy & Bill Gigs
Posted by PaddyG
Hello boys and girls........
Another mass email to annoy you I'm afraid. I was just getting over the week of my birthday and Halloween came along. I can't take this anymore. My inner slut comes out at each show but some of the costumes
the girls wore to the shows over the weekend (especially last night at Huske) made me feel like a choirboy! Young girls we are used to seeing at the shows regularly boldly proclaimed the arrival of puberty it
seemed. I am rarely embarassed but, I was speechless most of the time during these past few gigs. My age came screaming at my face. I had to think about baseball while singing so as not to have a Forrest
Gump moment. Why can't everyday be Halloween?
Bill and I dragged our arses to the radio station this morning to record a little skit I wrote to promote Skip's new Pub here in Fayetteville. I anticipated an element of lameness to come out of it but it turned out
rather well. We started the skit out saying "Testes, Testes" and the radio guy stopped me. I convinced him that I was saying "Testing, Testing" but my accent made it sound the other way. He bought it. That
alone should make the ad work. Anyway, for those of you in town, tune into 96.5 The Drive from today (Thursday) on and you will hear our dumb arses talking shite. Fame at last!
Our regular gigs remain: Every Tuesday at Huske.....Every Thursday at Skip's.....Every Friday at Wheelers
This Saturday, Nov 4th, we'll be in Durham at THE JAMES JOYCE PUB
Next Saturday, Nov 11th, we'll be at Tir na nOg in Raleigh
Check out the newly designed website at www.paddygibney.com. Laura has done an incredible job as usual. T-shirts, CDs etc are available through the site, at the
shows and at Paradise Records here in Fayetteville.
That's it lads and lassies. Take care of yourselves out there in the world. Thanks for the continued support. Our best wishes to our Military boys and girls. Thank you for what you are doing for so many people.
We'll see you along the road.
All the best,
Paddy
