Hello Boys and Girls……..
I hope this finds you all well and happily surviving the new year so far. Bill and I are staying busy as usual. It’s been great to see so many old mates at the gigs lately. Many of these
folks are just back from Iraq. I hope the day will soon come when all our military heroes get to come home.
We’re playing this Saturday ( Jan 28th ) at Tir na nOg in Raleigh. It’s always a great show in that place. New Year’s Eve was particularly crazy. Hope some of you in
the Raleigh area can make it out.
Our regular gigs remain every Tuesday at Huske Hardware, every Thursday at Coaches, and every Friday at Wheeler’s. Check out our website for
all relative information
Saturday, Feb 25th we’re back down in Wilmington at Hell’s Kitchen.
Once again we wish you guys all the very best for 2006. Thanks for all the support. We’ll see you along the road.
All the best,
Paddy
PS Keep your panties clean and put your best foot forward
Paddy Gibney Music - Shamrock and Roll is comprised of Paddy Gibney, originally from Dublin, Ireland, and Bill Ayerbe, originally from Jersey City, New Jersey. We are currently
based in Fayetteville, North Carolina and are playing to packed houses in the Carolinas. Our repertoire of traditional Irish music, bawdy pub songs, covers, and original music continues to draw crowds gig
after gig. The pub songs, notably The Friendly Little Cat, Alice, Seven Drunken Nights, Barnacle Bill, Wild Rover, etc, draw a very large following from the local college community and from the military community
at nearby Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force Base. The fan base is now extended worldwide due to the connection to these installations.
Never heard of us. Take a look at our website: Paddy Gibney Music - Shamrock and Roll . Our webmaster has made sure that you know
everything there is to know about us - and then some. There are lots and lots of photos. Some are unreal but those are behind locked doors (password required) on
the Shamrock and Roll Fan Club.
